Margit Galanter

Margit Galanter has been studying Wild Goose Qigong since 2000, — over several years in apprenticeship with Dr. Bingkun Hu, and with Micheline Bogey since 2000. Margit is a movement educator, arts investigator, and dance poet living on Ohlone Land, also known as California, East Bay. She teaches weekly qigong classes, works one-on-one with clients, teaches workshops, performs, and collaborates with practitioners from a wide range of media and disciplines.

Margit's unique practice, the vivid grove, helps people experience the innate clarity and vitality one can uncover through the potency of movement. The vivid grove ~ for moving, learning, creative evolution, and collective liberatory practices ~ incorporates Margit's expertise as a movement explorer and visionary cultural instigator. She is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitionercm, Chinese energetic practitioner, and movement artist. Margit received an MA in Movement Research and Practice from NYU's Gallatin School in 2004, and is dedicated to the connectivities that can grow through collective inquiry.

Margit's rich background in movement and dance informs the depth of the material she offers. She is dedicated to the prisms of cultural inquiry, conversation, perceptual vibrancy, and nourishing life.

Margit Galanter offers weekly classes in Wild Goose Qigong, taught as an ongoing series in Oakland and Berkeley. She also teaches seasonal workshops, special workshops, and retreats throughout the Bay Area. Margit's classes take place outdoors in Oakland Parks, as well as in the warmth of local studios throughout the Bay Area.
