Session 1: August 23-September 27, 2010 (6 weeks)
Please plan to attend as many of the 6 sessions as possible.
I am excited to again be offering a Wild Goose class close to downtown Santa Cruz. For this six week session we will focus on key elements of the Wild Goose system with an emphasis on Wild Goose 3. At the conclusion of the session participants will leave with an embodied sense of the rhythm, flexibility, agility, lightheartedness, and openness that result from the practice of Dayan Qigong. Participants will also learn Wild Goose 3 completely and be able to practice it on their own at home. This class is offered on a dana basis.
NOTE: We will meet on the second floor (up the outdoor stairs) on the landing and enter the building as a group. Please arrive by 7pm since the outside door will be locked (to the outside) after we enter.
Thursday's at Vipassana Santa Cruz (westside Santa Cruz)
This drop-in class focuses on the exploration of simple and easy to follow qigong movements for physical health, emotional balance, mental clarity, and mindful awareness. Participation in this class is an excellent preparation for Vipassana meditation (which follows in the same room at 7pm). If you prefer to wear shoes during qigong, please bring a pair that you only use indoors so as to avoid damaging the beautiful bamboo floor. This class is offered on a dana basis.
